Keep Your Wall Water Fountain Tidy
Water fountains will keep working a long time with scheduled cleaning and maintenance. Leaves, twigs, and bugs often find their way into fountains, so it is essential to keep yours free from such things.
Experts recommend that the typical garden fountain undergoes a thorough scouring every three-four months. Before you can start cleaning it you need to drain out all of the water. As soon as it is empty, wash inside the reservoir with a mild cleanser. If there is intricate artwork, you might need to use a toothbrush for those hard-to-reach areas. Any soap residue that remains on your fountain can damage it, so be sure it is all rinsed off.
It is highly suggested taking the pump apart to better clean the inside and get rid of any plankton or calcium. To make it less challenging, soak it in vinegar overnight before cleaning. Build-up can be a big hassle, so use mineral or rain water over tap water, when possible, to eliminate this dilemma.
Finally, be sure to have a quick look at your fountain daily and add water if you notice that the level is too low. Allowing the water to go below the pump’s intake level, can cause major damage and even make the pump burn out - an undesired outcome!
Indoor Wall Water Features are Great for Home or Office
Beautify and update your living space by adding an indoor wall fountain in your house.
A wall fountain is a great addition to any residence because it provides a peaceful place where you sit and watch a favorite show after working all day. The musical sounds produced by an indoor water element are known to release negative ions, remove dust and pollen from the air as well as sooth and pacify those in its vicinity.
